I have seen Buddy Guy live in concert twice in the past year, the latest was last night. On both occasions, those were the amps that he used. His rythmn guitarist used one of these

played through a Peavy cabinet.

If anybody knows where real tone comes from I'd say it was BG.

I don't know what JS's problem is. All I did was state the fact that Buddy Guy is back to using real amplifiers instead of "compooters" for his tone.

I'm sorry to hear that. Hope it's not contagious.

Indeed.

And whenever he's called out on it his persona goes into "high PRF" mode and we get treated to what we see here. Like some Cessna pilot with twenty hours in his logbook flying VFR around Ohare or Hartsfield who ends up hysterically squawking 7700 when a commercial "heavy" happens to fly by and he feels a little vortex turbulence.

teeth kicked in? not likely. ps, still have all of my originals. wonder why?
and that from a skid-sliding rotor-head??? jesuschristalmighty. cessna? ohare? you seem to know about DPE... were these friends or yours (RIP i suppose)?
see how sensitive you get when some one takes a run at your holy grail toob amp?
not originally from NYC, but home. beats living in some godforsaken desert.

and hopefully back to the subject of the cyber twins. i hope. yes, i have six in total. that's about all i can live with. i have several laptops, all wirelessly networked, and a special version of cyber commander not released to the public (it's mine alone) that can control up to 16 cyber twins. i just happen to like technology and like to see where it takes me and how far i can push it. ultimately, that was and continues to be why i enjoy the cyber twins so much, they never get stale, there's always something new and refreshing about them. like fender once said, innovate - they were/are right. that's what's keeps this fun. this is what the cyber twins bring to the table. definitley not the same-old-same-old.

ciao,
johnny.

My AOPA buddies pass along all the best stories. And if you step on your dick while airborne (assuming you have a ticket), sooner or later I'll hear of yours.

And for all your fondness for technology, why is it that you haven't shared photos of your "cyber-stack" on stage? Can't manage a simple digital camera and a Photobucket account? Or perhaps something else......?

Indeed.

Real "cred" by anybody's yardstick, right?

I call it pathetic but hey, that's just me.
