I'm wondering if, with a bottle of tequila, a sabre saw, and screwdriver, can I replace the 10" with a 12"? Is there room? I don't need no steenking warranty.

Is there one inch of extra clearance all around the existing speaker?

If so, there's your answer.

Nope, can't be done. There's only about 7/16" of total additional clearance inside the amp. The amp chassis slopes up pretty drastically to accommodate the existing speaker. It'd be a pain just to swap the stock speaker for another 10". :(

It's actually quite easy:

1. Disconnect the cable from the speaker
2. Unscrew the two screws on the sides of the cabinet.
3. The baffle will fall forward with a slight push on the speaker magnet and can be lifted out of the cabinet. You don't even have to remove the chassis.
