It is what people with weak arguments do, make personal attacks.

Go back and read how he starts threads, nearly every one of them is a personal attack on the poor uneducated tube amp lovers.

It is about as juvenile an aproach as one can have.

the fact is I have both a CT and Tube amps, they both have there place, you can enjoy both without spewing out trash talk.

you must keep in mind too that Johnny is also not following fender Community guidlines in that he is selling his product here and that is why he talks such trash about tube amps, his product does not support "real Tube Amps".

.... well, .... :?
A person isn't required to read another persons posts - if they don't want to ...
(also, seems like I remember some "setting" with the forum that well not show posts by people that you don't want read .... but that may be on some other forum too. :| ) (memory fades with age :| ) (if that's wrong, please forgive ... no offense intended. )

As for any "activity" that we aren't supposed to do .... I just leave that to the official "forum police". :D
(My OPINION - there's enough "police" around already to screw up my 'freedom' every time they get a chance  )

BUT -- above all --- Peace.
It's spring --- enjoy the flowers while they are here.
There is a time and season for everything.
(we can always argue about this, or that amp when it's bad weather. )

PEACE .................

here is a silly old saying that I think fits the situation here.
"you draw more flies with honey than, well I think you know what else"
Why not just dwell on the possitive aspects of what your interested in ? why try and drag someone elses thing through the dirt to try and make yourself look better ?

Thats all I'm saying, coming here and saying Tube amps are out of date and killing creativity , really ???

Again I'm a CT owner and i enjoy mine for what it is, cutting on my love for ALL tube circuits won't win anyone over, in fact it only pulls the two apart.

Peace back at ya

i was gonna say it's because i like to kick toobers in the nuts and watch a drop in the IQ, but i'm not gonna say that. i'm only gonna say that i'm a one-man side-show & plus another guy, a support team trying to do their best to get a positive word out on the Cyber Twin and yes of course, on the software called Cyber Commander.

So why is Cyber Commander and the Cyber Twin so great? Because as a system, this combo really works -it brings out everything the Cyber Twin has to offer. This system is in a word, revolutionary.

Aside from Cyber Commander's real-time control of the Cyber Twin, the built in editors are the real jewels. The idea was to get you to set up your player's lounge - naming your tones properly goes a long way. Assuming Cyber Commander and your Cyber Twin are synchronized, the next thing would be to set up your Midi Map. The Midi Map relates the numerical Fender Foot Controller to ANY of the presets in the Cyber Twin. The editor displays the numerical sequence (of the MIDI Map) and the presets. Using the MIDI Map editor, you can re-arrange the numerical sequence any way you want - this programs the MIDI Map, and then save it in the Cyber Twin. ready for the stage. or bedroom - maybe leave an impression? ok, ok,...

Any Player's Lounge and any MIDI Map can be loaded into the Cyber Twin from your computer/laptop for any venue. The basic idea was to let you create sequences of presets that you could easily call up in any live performance situation. Aside from the tones the Cyber Twins can output, this is the what the Cyber Twins were meant to do.

there is an incredible depth to what the Cyber Twins have to offer. Cyber Commander goes a very long way to help you discover that capability. as our slogan says: "unleash the power in your amp".

ciao,
john.

The fact that the software puts everything about the amp, on the screen in front of you, made the software a "must have" to me. :D

Yup. There's NOTHING that can beat the smell of hot tubes, stale smoke and dried beer from a well gigged tube amp. It's just a little whiff of heaven!

I do agree with Tbazzon and BB, some of the comments on here seem a little too out of hand...

haha and I love the smell of my ampeg when it starts cookin', smells like gold 8)

Quick question: if the CT is going to be discontinued, how much would they go in stores? how come I hear that people are finding them used for $300-400, but every single one I've seen has been $700+ ?
