Yep, you won't regret that DRRI. For clean tones, I've yet to find a sweeter amp. It's a bit of a one-trick pony, but what it does, it does really, really well. And besides, you can always use pedals for overdrive. And the tube driven spring reverb is legendary, as you've no doubt experienced already. Tube rectified, dual 6V6 power section is just perfect.

cedarblues,
You got rid of your Mesa/Boogie Lonestar Special? I was just thinking of getting one. I'd like to have another amp, one that's channel switching, and with an effects loop. Tell me about your experiences with the Mesa LSS, please. I'd most appreciate your counsel.

LSS is a great amp IMO, very versatile. I got it during my Santana phase... I chose the LSS cause you can get some great cleans with it and can get that warm Santana tone. Way too many options, I decided I wanted a simple amp, always wanted a DRRI, so I made the switch.

I used the LSS for these 2 vids, this will give you an idea of the tone you can get out of it...

and some Santana tone...

Tone is great on this amp, with or without the reverb.
I can best describe the tone as being full.
Reverb and tremolo are foot switchable, great feature.

I did notice a little flurb when louder volumes.
My sc xd does that.. When played outside, minimizes
The flurb. It's not woot though.
Cedar, great playing
