I have a Twin with two 8 ohm speakers wired in series set at 16 ohms.
I would like add a Mesa Boogie Rectifier 2 x 12" cabinet that says 8 ohms.

Should this be plugged in to the series or parallel output jack and what setting should be used on the impedence selector?

Hi amontsion,

Parallel and 4 ohm or 8 ohm setting. The actual impedance of the combination will be 5.3 ohms, so 4 ohm or 8 ohm setting will work. One way [4 or 8] may sound better than the other, but either will work fine.
