Convert it to Krugerrands or US Double Eagles, put it in a Mason jar, and bury it in the backyard......?

That's what I do.

Stop buying stuff and just play good music.

Point of order. Amps are included in GAS because the G is not for "guitar" it's for "gear".

Gear Aquisition Syndrome.

I believe the term may have been first coined by a guy from NY (Joysie maybe?) on the original TDP sometime around 1996, give or take.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Don't take it as a badge of honor...I was there in the '60's,sometimes I get called an old hippie,(the correct spelling) by younger people who know nothing of what they speak of.
Most hippies were on a big ego trip....now many are old boomers who bought into the materialistic lifestyle of their elders....Woodstock didn't last forever.
In other words,"they sold out".

I "only" have 6 amps,
Four are combos and two are head & cabs.

Hard to add more, I seem to have run out of house.
