lol ... all Taylor guitars have a fuse in them to "protect" you from getting a shock if you touch a badly wired microphone. That's the fuse I was talking about jumpering. They are very delicate fuses, and when they go... switch guitars. Quite safe to jumper these unless you play Woodstock in the rain in 1968.

OH MY NO... you'd never jumper a fuse on an amplifier! People die doing that!

 My mistake! Thanks for putting my mind at ease, I thought that you meant the amp fuse, sorry about that. I imagined some website where some moron was advising to jumper the amps fuse after doing some other mod or something, phew! :)

WTF, are you trying to start a fire!?!? The fuses are there for protection, to prevent the amp from going up in smoke and flame and possibly burning the house down. There is no sane reason to jumper the fuse, what kind of moron advised you to do that? :!:

i was thinking the same thing.

The only problem I've found with the Blues Jr. reverb unit is that it's quite a fine balancing act to adjust it to just get a touch of reverb.Just the smallest increase in the increment of the control will give you too much reverb and there's a tiny area between 2 and 3 where the sweet spot is.

I don't know what kind of reverb tank my tech replaced it with, but now it sounds great at any setting up to 10. (oops 12) Try a different tank?

One point he made is that if Fender had made the Blues Jr just a skosh wider he could have put in a 17 inch tank! Oversight or clever marketing?
