Oscillation noise when the amp's chorus is on.

Is this normal or a problem with the amp or the pedal?

I've tried new batteries and a power supply and get the same results.

Any help would be appreciated!

Have you tried the amp's chorus effect without the pedal in your signal chain?

Yes. I use the chorus often. I only get the noise when I have the delay engaged while the chorus is on. No other pedal or effect combination causes it to happen.

Apparently there's some unsympathetic reaction(s) between that particular effect and your amp's chorus function -- it's been known to happen on occasion. You might try a different delay pedal in your chain.

Thanks. I had hoped for a better solution, but who's to say getting a new delay pedal isn't such a bad solution after all....

Well it's been a little while bur I solved the problem. I bought an Ibanez DE7 and couldn't be happier. Not only do I prefer the controls and sound, but there's no extra noise with the amp!
