Something has come up which means this amp must go today. I'm on my phone so don't have a picture but i bought the amp 6 months ago, been used for a matter of 7-8 hours and is in perfect nick. Will deliver anywhere in the north of england, may have to box about somewhere i'll have a scoot around, pm sensible offers please

I'm not sure whether sales are aloud on this forum or anything, and i'm not sure of whether you have like a contributor sections, but if my amps is aloud to sell of here i will contribute 5% to the site/or charity.

Good luck though... I have one of those myself and it's not the sort of amp one should part with except in an emergency (you can ALWAYS use an excellent sounding practice amp).

The only downside to the 57 champ is that you'll want either a 57 Deluxe or a 57 twin to keep it company. And the 61 reverb tank reissue...

I nearly got the '57 deluxe instead of the champ. There were no Guitar Center stores with the '57 Deluxe in stock. Luckily, the ONLY Guitar Center with a 57 Champ in stock was in Sherman Oaks, so I made the pilgrammage down into the valley.

In addition to the 57 Champ and they also had an actual 1959 vintage tweed amp that was the same wattage as the '57 deluxe. After trying both, I determined that I would not be able to get overdriven tones from the 57 deluxe without playing at volumes that exceed what I want to do at home.

As a result, I purchased the only '57 champ that was in stock at the only guitar center retail store that had any inventory. :)

How sweet would it be if they did a Bassman that was hand wired like the '57 custom shop amps?
