So Could The Same Be Said About The 65 TRRI ? Would I Want A Different Amp For Multiple Pedals ?

I dunno......

I got a dozen amps (most of them vintage, two re-issues).

I use the same pedal chain for all of them:

Fulltone OCD >>> Zoom G1-X >>> A/DA flanger >>> Radial Tonebone A/B/Y

From the Tonebone into both channels of a blackface/silverface/re-issue amp or conversely, two amps running in tandem. I make some minor EQ tweaks to account for the venue's acoustics and fine-tune the tone for the configuration of the speaker enclosure(s) -- 1 x 15 combo, 2 x 15 bass-reflex, 2 x 10 combo, 2 x 12 combo, 2 x 12 bass-reflex. But by and large I pretty much always sound like me, regardless of the rig.

Awesome. Thank You. I Tried My Guitar On The TRRI And Loved It But Didn't Have Any Pedals Hooked Up To It. That Should Also Fix The Getting Drowned Out Thing. 85 Watts Here I Come. Lol

There's no way around that capacitor in the DRRI's Vibrato channel (unless you turn up the volume). The TRRI has that capcitor on a (Bright) switch. I did the Fritz to mine a couple of years ago and haven't looked back. The best thing I ever did to the amp. Basically, you plug in the Normal channel and use its preamp and tone stack. Then the Fritz mod is a jumper from there to the reverb/vibrato, then from there your signal travels on through to the power section and so on. So, both channels now have reverb/vibrato and now no need to plug in to the Vibrato channel with the super bright capacitor. Overdrive sounds like heaven and so does that spring reverb that everyone loves so much (including me!). Also, you can just remove the capacitor or replace it with one of a lower value, or, what I think I'll do next, put it on a bright switch. Maybe a little mini-toggle. I love my Fulltone Fulldrive Mosfet and my DRRI.

seriously? then just don't use pedals then, clipping the bright cap is the easiest thing you can do to your amp, and it doesn't "suck tone" if anything it improves the tone because there is one less capacitor between the input signal and output to the signal

+1

It re-aligns the vibrato channel's response bandwidth more to the center (mid) frequencies, where most guitars with single-coil pickups "live and breathe".

oh yeah i forgot to mention, to get some extra drive just patch the normal channel to the vibrato channel. You will get some extra gain that way, it helps to saturate the tubes.

Not precisely. The DRRI's channels are wired out-of-phase with one another -- the end result is a decrease in both bass and treble response plus less available gain.

Thanks Arjay for clearing up that. Never understood it's use in jumping?
I've done it but not really sure what it was supposed to do.

Correctly done, it does change the amp's voicing. But the real beauty lies in using an A/B/Y stompbox to give any vintage two-channel Fender amp true channel-switching capability.

That's right!

I forgot about that. I modded my guitars to have push/pull out of phase so I can play that in phase.

Actually, one of the coolest things to do with the amp, that is pretty easy, is to hook the red plug going from the reverb tank into the input of the normal channel. You just need an adapter, and it sounds pretty groovey.

Although a good bias job and a new speaker will probably help a lot too.
