problem with amp that's cut at hi tones, tryied everything but nothing seems to help.
any ideas??

Have you pulled the PCB and check for bad solder joints and the 5w resistors sometimes get hot enough to unsolder themselves.

Good advice goodinbed. However, the Deville versions don't have the same resistor heat problems as the Deluxe versions, as the Devilles have a lower transformer voltage for that section of the power supply. So, the Devilles resistors run cooler, although the solder joints are still suspect, as with any modern amp, so checking them is always a good idea. :idea:
