here's the post, any ideas as to whats' up with it?

I have Fender HotRod Deluxe. It is about 6 yrs Old and cosmatically kept well. This amp is not 100% functional. it sounds OK until volume at level 2, but after it begin breaks (too early for clean sound). I'm not sure how much it will cost to fix this. If you know then it will be yours for $100. other than that it is workin OK. I tested Speaker with ohter amp head and it works great! I will include a brand new set of both power and pre Tubes.

If that dont work I would also pull the the board and check for bad solder joints interruption of heater voltage often suffer from bad solder joints where the tube sockets are soldered to the board carefully check connections and also check the filter caps
