If I didn't have to cop the O/S shipping, I reckon I'd go for one of these:

A BJ loaded into that with a Texas Heat and a Ragin Cajun would sound like a different amp I reckon. Looks like a nicely built cab too.

FWIW...A while back I bought a Blackstar HT5 (5 watts)...the head is wonderful but, the speaker leaves much to be desired so, I run a splitter to the speaker cabinet in my 70's Twin Reverb and access the Twin's 12's. Works great!

The only set back is, of course, I cannot run them in tandem. The Twin or the Blackstar has to be out unused and preferably on standby or off. Simply not using one or the other if fine at lower volume levels but, standby is better. Off is unnecessary.

5watts is more than enough to drive the speakers and, at studio volumes MUCH easier on the ears than the ear-bleed of the Twin at break up.

I'd consider a 410 cabinet for the Blackstar if I could find one I could afford.

Some months ago, I dunno maybe it was even a year ago, a guy posted a thread on a BJ "head" build wherein he used a Blackheart head cabinet that fit quite well. If memory serves he straightened out one of the folds in the chassis metal so the control plate could face forward at the bottom front of the head cab and still have the tubes oriented in an upright position. I didn't care for the white piping but other than that it looked pretty good. I seem to recall he may have removed the BlackHeart label. With the BillM mods, some high quality tubes and a nice 112 or 210 closed back cabinet you could likely get some nice tone out of it. Downside is that by the time you were all said and done you could prolly have purchased the Egnator.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.
