Hi. I have two 12" speakers that I've been told are Fender made. There are no labels, just some numbers etched on the back. Both speakers are black; the etching is white. I was hoping that I could run these by you and hopefully uncover their models. The first speaker has a number around the edge: "SP1211 67-8718." The other has two lines of the numbers written on the center of the driver. The first string is "70777051" and under that is "67-8607."

Thanks,
-Adam

Correct.

"67-8718" was made in the 18th week of 1987 and "67-8607" dates to the 7th week of 1986. Lacking a Fender label or Fender part number stamped somewhere on the frame or magnet, these speakers could've been installed in literally anything.

Thanks for the quick reply! Is there anyway to find out the wattage on each speaker with this limited info?

If you can post some pics of these speakers showing the magnet structure, cone, and voice coil in adequate detail, we can hazard a guess.
