I have a circa 80's M-80 Chorus 2x12 It's solid state with two channels, spring reverb and a stereo chorus. It has a two button switch controlling channel and chorus on/off. The chorus works if turned on or off from the amp. But it does not if you try to turn it on or off with the footswitch. the footswitch is able to switch the channels. Has anyone run into this problem before? Where should I begin to diagnose this problem. Is there a simple way to determine if the footswitch button is the culprit?

Thanks in advance,
G

I used to own a Fender Princeton Chorus that would do that if the Chorus button on the amp was in the "on" position.

it doesn't wor with chorus turned on or off at the amp. I think (hope) my footswitch is bad. I'm going to ask around and see if I can borrow someone's footswitch to see if it will work.
