Anyone know of any amp made now that would be a 'substitute' for the '64 VibroVerb Fender made with the 15" speaker and mod switch? :?
Wish it was still made. :(

Why don't you grab one from Ebay?

They're listed pretty regularly.

What arjay said. I got one about a year ago and fell in love immediately. It is such a huge upgrade from the Hot Rod Deluxe I was playing. When I first played it I remember thinking "Now that's blackface tone."

If you don't want to use eBay you could try checking gbase.com and Guitar Center. You can do a national search of the used gear and I believe they can ship it to the nearest store.

I've seen a very few listed on some C/L ads as well. Worth a look-see mebbe.

You can always build a lighter version with the sweet 6v6 tone 8)

If you prefer 6L6 Fender makes the Twin Custom 15, great sounding and huge!

There's one listed in the Gulfport CL right now... asking $1300 I believe, a fair price. I paid $1500 for mine which is still pretty good seeing as how they were $2500 new.

For $1300 I'd certainly take a look.
