Hi there,

I have a Fender Stage 100 DSP and I'm really happy with it. But, these last few days I've be searching for how I could output the sound of that amplifier in my headphones. In the back, here are the output/input plugs I've got:

    - External speaker 8 ohms
    - Main speaker 8 ohms
    - Line out (Which looks like a Mic plug)
    - Power amp in
    - pre amp out
    - foot switch

Now, I've tried my headphones in all of these plugs and I can get some garbish sound in my headphones when pluged in the main and external speaker plugs. Which I guess is to powerfull for my poor litle headphones.

What should I do to output sound correctly in my headphones? Is there any converter that exists or am I doing something wrong?

I'm also interested in recording some of my playing using my computer. I'm looking for an external sound card right now and beeing able to output correctly the sound of that amplifier to my computer would be nice. What would be the best practice to record the best sound I can?

Thanks,

Martin

Theoretically you could take the line out signal and input it to a mic input on a home stereo system (if so equipped) then use the stereo amp's headphone jack for private listening. I have a Stage 100 DSP as well, though I've never had the need for headphone monitoring.
