hello all,
Looking into a princeton reverb reissue. Has everything I need in a amp (i'd prefer a 12 inch speaker though)
If I run it into an extension cab (1x12) would the stock speakers still be in use at the same time?
Or would I be better off getting a bigger baffle for the bigger speaker?
pardon my lack of knowledge 8)
thanks in advance.

When plugs are inserted into the speaker jacks, both of them are powered. However, the impedance load should remain at 8 ohms for efficiency and safety. I've seen replacement baffle boards designed for a 12-inch speaker on Ebay (seller is Larry Rodgers -- highly respected craftsman). He charges about $80 IIRC and they are a drop-in fit for any PR or PRRI.
