I have owned since then $3,000.00 botique amps, bought an entire inventory of NOS tubes from a guy and the story could go on for hours, I'm a good trader/seller and so I've actually made a nice profit on the stuff i didn't hang on to, I had e-bay sales in one year that were over $39,000.00
I even owned a 1940's princeton for a few weeks, it is in Japan in a museum now.
Not bad for an at home jammer with the occasional coffe shop blues jam and such.I know own some very fine gear that I promiss you I have zero dollars invested in, yep Zero, in fact I've made serious profit all along the way.

Tell you what, pal......

Since you're such an egg-spurt in all thing vintage Fender, the next time some fellow needs to know if the OT in his '64 Super Reverb has the correct part number or another guy wants to know how to do a correct re-Tolexing job to original specs or somebody else would like an explanation of how the three different Leo-designed tremolo circuits work, I'll just refer them to you.

After all, you "made serious profit all along the way".

The only problem you'll likely have is, one day someone will call you on your braggadocio and you'll either have to prove your bona fides by posting some pics of your "very fine gear" or tuck your tail and STFU.

Capich?
