Thanks for the advice everyone!

I guess I'll hold off on chaning anything for a while.

Basically, I want the vib. chanel to be less...clangy, I don't know. And I want the normal channel to break up just a bit sooner.

Alright, I'll keep what's in there for a while. Make sure the speaker is good and broken in.

I hadn't thought of that. :oops:

I'm new to tube amps but not really to the guitar. I have an awesome strat that has been modded quite heavily and so I figured the amp should be too. I guess not.

Well, we'll see anyway

No problem in modding the amp if that's what you are into but wait till it breaks in so you have a base for what it will sound like going forward. 8)

Chasing "Tone" is always a never ending battle. That's why so many folks have multiple guitars and amps!! :wink:

Keeps the economy going too.. :lol:
