Man and I just bought a std. DRRI. This one looks pretty cool:

Interesting... wonder what it will sound like with that P12Q in there. Not sure I'm digging the wine red, will have to see it in person. Did they announce any prices yet?

"If you have to ask......"

It seems to me the SE blonde DRRI commanded a $150 premium over the base model some ten years ago (when it and the similar anniversary TRRI were released). But that was an otherwise stock amp, with the standard C12K. The alnico P12Q in this FSR will likely require an additional upcharge.

My guess is street prices would likely be around $1,300 or so.

+1

A not unreasonable estimate.

Not that I'd buy one, I'm very happy with my own "FSR" DRRI :D

Same here......if I want it and I can build it, I'd already have one.

Now if they'd done it in rough brown Nubtex, with a brown-enameled front panel instead of black......

I don't like the wine color, but the alnico would sound good...but you can do better with a DRRI and a Weber 12A125-A.

I have stayed away from the 12A125 weber series so far, the Bright indication on their web site has kept my interest low.
Overall brightness has been one of the things I try to overcome with any DRRI I have had.
Now if fender did a limited run in surf green to match one of my strats, well that might just get me interested.
