Yes , on Google we can find many arguments. But I talk about what I test and work for me.

On some amps you may not see any difference with better PI tube, or is because you don't use it a hi volume or........

I try to talk "generally speaking" . Each case could be different. There so many amps circuits....

Listen this : If your amp resistors or capacitors are not perfectly the right values on the PI, because 10 to 20 % tolerance. And your unbalanced PI tube are just the rigth one to match those "out of value" resistors and caps. Your PI is perfectly matched

So if you buy a new balancrd PI tube and put it in your amp, the PI circuit became "unmatched !!
