ozrv, if only "we" can progress beyond using mono-syllable words and some of the teenage euphemisms... are you under 18? or 21? depending on the state, you could be forgiven.

so back to amps and things... what tube amp does the mustang beat out, just for comparison's sake? better yet, what tube amp (and a rack full of effects) does the SE beat out, again for comparison's sake?

ciao,
johnny.

It is clear that you are totally incapable of carrying on an intelligent, adult discussion. I'm through wasting my time in this thread.

Little Johnny, You have a gigantic and obvious inferiority complex. You are overcompensating for a massive, life long social problem, It is not our fault your gigantic complex leads you to believe that your opinion is of such intelligence that no one else's should be considered. Even if it is clear to all it would no doubt be all you actually have in your life. I can hear in every word you say how sad and socially challenged you really are and to make assumptions about my age with your self proclaimed godly intellect let alone your arkward and embarrassing attempt at humour with regards to my geographic with my avatar being "OZ"RV concludes you are unobservant, of limited intelligence and obviously socially challenged with your inability to converse with people without your massive complex showing itself.

Goodbye little Johnny the frustrated computer weirdo....

OZRV..
Out.....

poor ozrv, stayed up the night to write something witty, not.

sooo, now that the toobers have gone (and that took a bit of effort), i think (looking around) it's safe to engage in a modern amp discussion. looking foward to exchanging some thoughts and ideas.

ciao,
johnny.

This is getting pretty funny. Why do you guys even waste your time with this guy? It always ends up the same way. Johnny, we get it, you think tubes suck and all these modeling amps are great and we're all cavemen and women and we're stuck in the past.
For a lot of us tube amps work just fine. So I'll just stay in my cave, playing my tube amps with Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble and enjoy what I'm hearing. Without the firmware and software updates and computer crashes. We also understand that and correct me if I'm wrong you write or sell software for the Cyber Twin. So I understand where you're coming from.

Look, the personal attacks and insults are getting really old. We can all have differences of opinion without the personal attacks.

I almost forgot. This is a Mustang thread? I got curious and tries them. For me they were nothing more that a glorified GDec. At least they put guitars speakers in them. My 20 watt Egnater Rebel seems to have more power than the 100 watt Mustang III and the effects are still cheesy.

the tube posts are nearly always the same, this tube, that tube, etc, and always end the same way with self congratulatory slaps on the back on what a wise choice a tube amp was. what else could one expect from a mutual admiration society?

ss and modeling discussions always (pretty much without exception) draw lightning. always. any positive message is dumped on and side-railed into something else, with a side order of raked muck. i do understand why SE, ss, and modeling amp fans won't post and put up with this.

but me, i enjoy a good challenge, heck i had fun & thanks for the amusement. but like with all recreational things, i've got to head back to the real world with real things to do. but i'll be back.

ciao, over & out,
johnny.
