Some rock settings for the Fender Frontman 25r

Use only the drive channel, forget the clean channel as it's not able to be manipulated like the drive channel.

Heavy metal = Gain 6-8, Volume 3-10, reverb 0
Sherder rock= Gain 4-5, volume 3-8, reverb 0
Classic rock= Gain 3-4, volume 3-6, reverb 1
Blues rock= Gain 2, volume 3-6, reverb 1
Country rock= similar to Classic Rock and Blues rock settings with reverb 2-3.
Rockabilly= similar to Blues rock settings with reverb 2 to 3.

The EQ (Bass, mid, Treble) must be adjusted in combination with your guitar's pickups, tone control, and effects if any. Also, I use a Ragin Cajin speaker which has more punchy bass and it smooths out the shrill highs on the tone knobs at moderate volumes. For higher gain tones you want more midrange tone. For blues and other rock and fender tones try to cut the mids and use more bass and trebble.

Thus, your EQ settings will vary, but the gist of these settings should get you close to ROCK.
