Just installed 2 Alnico Blues, a G12H30 and a G12M Greenback into a 4X12 cabinet. To break them in a bit, I plugged in my Princeton RI, bypassing the Jensen. Oh my. To paraphrase Greg Koch, my bell bottoms will be swinging with the power of the Princeton as it seeks the tone council of these Celestions from the 60s and 70s. 8)

A pox on all those heretics who opine that 12-watt Princeton lacks the cojones to drive multiple 12's into sonic nirvana.

I've known "the secret" for years.

Oh, yes. A pox indeed. I remember the first time I bypassed that little 10" speaker. I closed my door so none of my purist guitarist friends would know, and with great trepidation, I made the connection. And, wow! The Princeton became a beast. Compressed, tight bass thump and excellent, sweet distortion.
