Is there a safe, easy way to hear all the possible speaker combinations without rewiring my cabinet every time I want a change?
I have a 4 X 12 cabinet with 2-Alnico Blues and a G12M Greenback and a G12H30 (all 8 ohm). I want to use/compare the following combinations:
The 2 Blues (16ohm)
G12M (8 ohm)
G12H30 (8 ohm)
Blue+G12M (16ohm)
Blue+G12H30 (16ohm)
G12M+G12H30 (16ohm)

It would also be cool  if 2 combinations could be accessible at the same time.
e.g. 2 Blues = Left; G12s = Right

Notes:
My amps can handle 8 ohm AND 16 ohm loads (with the flick of a switch).
I don't plan on switching combinations with the amp head powered on.
I expect to drill holes and add plates with connectors to the back of my cabinet.

An alternate question, what would you do with these 4 speakers and a 4X12 cabinet? :?:

Hi Guitarist1983,

All of the combinations that you want won't be easy to achieve at all. You could use several DPDT switches, or several switching jacks. If you know how to wire it all up, it could be done.

Por favor, disculpe mi español, no se llega a la práctica con mucha frecuencia.

I would suggest to find a 6 positions (multi) switch to 1 common connected to an output jack; On each switch input you wire 1 configuration, and 1 resistors 8 ohms to address only 16 ohms for all configurations. I don't know if such a switch exists, here is an example of principle (letters are known as "node", 3 switches are turned on at each time, then it a big swich 6 positions * 3 switches).
