well my subject pretty much says it all (sorry if my guitar player slang isnt up to par) i have been playing guitar for 2 months

im looking to buy a blues jr
the guitar center near me has a standard blues jr
blues jr hot rod III,
blues jr tweet -i believe with the vintage speaker everyone seems to be really excited about
and couple other differnt types of (1x12 15w) blues jr
how many are there??? (from what i can tell its mostly just a speaker change & color change) but is there something im missing - why are some better than others????)

im not telling you to sit here and list every version to me (unless you want too :D ) but i link would be steller, as fender's website only seems to mention the hotrod version

thanks in advance
-toeknee

Officially 3 but we have to consult schematic historic to identify changes. Even if it is minor changes.

Hi toekn33 and welcome to the forum. Here's a thread that could help you or confuse you even more.

I have the standard Tolex with no mods and I love it. In the end, let your ears be the judge. Good luck.

Hi toekn33 welcome to the forum the Blues Jr. you identified as "tweet" is most likely the Tweed model which is just the optional covering that's on that amp although it could quite possibly have a speaker upgrade.I believe that there are now 3 series of Blues Jrs. but the standard Blues Jr. is a great amp and most differences are in the coverings in each series although there are speaker options-with Celestion and Jensons being much better sounding than the standard Eminence speaker. Having said that the Eminence speaker still produces a fine tone but the others will sound markedly better.
