I did own one for about 1 yr. I did like the clean channel very much. The effects not so much even after playin with it. My suggestion would be to remove the chassie and install it in a larger cab with a 12in speaker.

I agree. All I used was the clean channel. Best part is how you can crank it to 7-8 and get a pretty good fender clean sound at a reasonable indoor volume. Ignoring the voicings and on-board effects it's definitely a good small tube amp in the 200-300 dollar range.

More responses.. cool. Thanks fellaz.. I test drove an Egnater, which I loved, but it was about $1100.. and too much for what I'm doin'. I'm just an old chum with a few nice guitars and a pretty good left hand (and a 30+ year ear for music). Interesting.. I heard a Willy Nelson duet with Mr. Cash today (while I was Bass fishing on my fav. private place..) ... .yes, I fish when it's cold. Anyway, Willy was playing his nylon acoustic with nothing more.. Johnny singing along.. No drums, amps, effects etc... Just too iconic guys who could make this current and contemporary merry-go-round which we live in, still, stop and look. Music is an opinion of art and taste.. That song was one I've heard a thousand times, but it reminds me that talent is really how someone does what they do, as much as what they do, and what equipment and peripherals they use to get the point to their audience. Jimi played through a 50 year old strat and 40 year old amps etc.. (plus he was loaded out of his melon most of time).. did it really matter? No..

Tbazz.. there's a guy who makes SCXD cabinets (and others online). He's got a Tweed with blonde speaker grill... add $200.. jd newal amps (something like that).. His work looks really nice..) However, I don't know that I'll do that.. PS- thanks for taking my comments lightly.. no ill intent.
