Good morning all,
I am interested in purchasing one of the newly upgraded 60 watt blonde Supersonic amps. The amp I am interested in has had the bass circuit upgraded and has a fatter sound.

I have asked on line sellers if they have these amps and many are unsure. Can you tell me how one would identify the newly upgraded amps vs. the older models?

Is it possible to tell by the serial number? If so, what are the current serial number ranges for the new amps?

Many Thanks

You can tell the difference between the old and new version by the font of the "Supersonic" logo on the faceplate.

Correct.

And on the black Tolex variants, the horrid "salt-and-pepper" grill cloth was abandoned in favor of the traditional blackface weave.

The SuperSonic is giving me some a serious cas of GAS! I must have one. I think the 22 watter would suit my needs just fine. I like an amp that I can really push hard at small gigs without any ears bleeding.

The Supersonic 22 combo seems to be everything the VM Deluxe isn't.
