the 60 is the only supersonic that comes in a head.

Unless you mean a supersonic 22 combo

I played a supersonic 22 combo yesterday along with another DRRI. I tell you what the SS really impressed me! Very nice cleans and very good overdriven sounds. I might be interested in a SS 22 head if they ever release one.

Believe me, you're not the only one. This DRRI piggyback conversion belongs to a friend of mine in Germany......

He swears by it and gigs it regularly.

I've had the Supersonic 60 watt head & 4x12 cabinet for a few months now. The difference betwen the two: older, newer as explained to me is a slight change in the circuitry on the new model for a little more bass boost that should be it. I had the choice of both when I bought and I bought the older model. There is no lack of bass, volume or anything here. I couldn't be happier. I even thinned out my pedalboard just to a Carbon copy, Buddy Guy Wah & strobostomp tuner. This is one rockin' amp.

Thanks for your post. Based on the previous posts, I thought I dreamed the whole thing about two versions of the Supersonic head. :P

I'm hip! I went through the same thing. My salesman made a call to Fender to clear it up.

Ha, yeah, I have the 112 and after I got it, I connected my then current pedal board and wondered why it didn't sound the same as when I was playing it in the store. Then I realized I demoed it dry: guitar to amp. So I cut back as well. Love it. Will hopefully be the amp I play for life..

That rocks that you feel the same way. I feel like this amp is a big secet weapon. Everyone is so surprised when they hear it or play through it. My guitars finally sound the way they should. Have a great Holiday!

I bought the 60 Watt 60th Anniversary, get this for 625, Brown Tolex Used, and I got the Matching 2x12 Cab. What is the hardware that hooks them together. Anyone know the part number, I searched fenders site for an hour. Sounds killer with my Les Paul.
