I currently own a Rumble 100 amps since 3 years now, I was just playing for fun with friend and never record anything.
Right now I'm planning on buying a little consol to record stuff into my PC so I'm reading on the internet to get something not too expensive but that will do a basic job.
I know that their's a XLR output on my amps but I have read somewhere that I need to be sure that the output need to be phamtom protected to be sure that it will work

So is the output on my amp is phantom power protected, or is their a way to know that ?

8) Your xlr out put should 'nt have anything to do with phantom power. phantom power is used to power certain microphones and sometimes prossesing pedals. All you need to do is run your xlr cable from your amp tto whet ever you will use for a mixer. Start with your level knob turned almost all the way off. It dose'nt take much signal to your mixer to do the job. It's easy just watch your recording levels so you don't overpower and you will be fine
