I recently purchased a fender blues deville 212 and have found that the drive knob does not produce any distortion once so ever. I am using a 2010 standard American Tele. Even with the drive knob cranked to 10, the amp continues to play clean with a little fuzz feedback (hardly noticeble). Im not sure if a fuse is blown or what.....any advice from my fender friends would be greatly appreciated.

Hi MJGibson

If the sound is about the same when switching between the clean and drive channels, you may have lost a 16 V supply caused by a broken trace or solder joint. Although the Deville doesn't have the heating problem in that circuit like the Deluxe, I would still check the solder joints and circuit traces around the 2 big white resistors in the power supply.
