I like both the Hot rod deluxe and hot rod blues junior, but I can't figure out which one will be better for me!

The thing I want with an amp, is to be able to walk into a club, guitar in one hand, amp in the other. I know the junior is light enough for this but is the deluxe?

The other issue is I have a vox wah, toadworks american distortion and a t rex compnova, and I can't live without them. Is the junior powerful enough to take this? I know it doesn't have an FX loop, whereas the Deluxe does, but yeah.

Another thing is I love tweed, so I'm not really interested in all them fender champ/cyber thingymajiggies, please get back to me asap!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks!!!

I have both a Blues Deluxe Reissue (the predecessor to the HRD) and a Blues Jr. and answering your question depends on a number of issues:
1)The Deluxe is around 45lbs. and the Blues jr. around 32lbs.
2)Assuming that you are playing in a group, do you mic all the amps or not? HRD-40watts; BJ-15watts. Do you try to keep the stage volume down and send the volume out front via the PA mixer or play extremely loud on stage? If you prefer playing with loud stage volume, the HRD may be needed, otherwise the BJ is just fine.
3)The BJ adapts well to effects pedals directly in the input chain, so that shouldn't be an issue. However if you ever want to play without effects pedals, the HRD is a major advantage since the BJ is a single channel amp.

Prefering less volume on the stage, it sometimes is difficult keeping my BDRI low enough, but then I really like the advantage of the 2nd (drive) channel and the fact that if I want to, I can use the BDRI without the extra hassle of pedals.

If you know how you feel about these issues, you can easily answer the question for yourself.
