After driving myself nuts trying to decide on an amp I just gave up and ordered a Twin. This isn't the twin reverb or the reissue one, just the plain old twin 2x12. I really don't want to kick myself for buying this, but I do think I got a decent used price. What I want to know really bad is, how effective is the 1/4 power switch? I know i'm not going to be able to over drive it too much at 100 watts, maybe at shows, but other than that not really. If I keep in on 25 watts at home and at practice ect, will i notice any change in tone other than that the tubes break up earlier? do the tubes even break up earlier?? Are there any flaws about running it at 1/4 ppower? If there are, is there anyway I can remove and re bias the amp so that I am only running 2 power tubes with out sarcraficiing tonal quality? My main goal here is to just be able to have that Twin clean tone but also but able to overdrive it with out it hurting BUT i don't want to have it sounding weak either... im confused! Also, I have a ts 9 tube screamer..
