Hi,I'm new to this forum,I'm looking for some help
have a problem with my TWINtm amp intermittantly jumping from the clean channel to the lead channel for a split second then back to clean again, happens more when i start cranking the amp up,have changed the capacitors c47 and c48 which helped a bit as they were swollen and leaky,re-soldered the entire pcb but it still does it,it's not only driving me mad but also my fellow band mates and sound guy......HELP!!!!!!

First Welcome !

If your amp is still under guaranty, contact a 7ender dealer.

Are you talking about:
http://support.fender.com/schematics/gu ... SchE45.pdf ?
If yes and you have enough electronic skills, can you monitor TP61 with a voltmeter able to read positive +20V and Negative -20V ?

Take care with high DC voltage that can be fatal.

Hi,thankyou for your fast reply to my question,I have taken so long to post because I did not want to reply until I had discovered what was causing the fault......eventualy found that R107 which is in the 13volts line was actually intermittantly breaking down.
Thanks again for your advise as it did stear me in the right direction.

You're welcome.

By the way, what schematic are you talking about, I don't see 13V and R107 in SchE45 ? :o

Hi, I have the TWINtm,I've only had it for a year,i bought it second hand and the guy I bought it off said it was only a couple of years old.
It must be a different model from the one in your diagram, although the channel switching basically works the same way.
THanks again :D
