Hi!

I am so proud to have my new Supersonic Combo! It is so great to play! I think, this is the best amp I ever had!

But I have one little problem and hope someone can help me:

I don't want to switch between the channels (and between the 2 voices of the Vintage-Channel) with the footswitch, beause I want to use also a Midi-controlled guitar-effects-processor like the Boss GT-Pro or the T. C. G-Major which has (one or two) amp control jacks.

I am not sure if this is possible with my Supersonic, because there is a 3-button-footswitch with a 1/4"-TRS-Cable. So I think it doesn't work with a guitar-effects-processor with amp control jacks.

Did you try this? Do you know if this is possible or not?

Thank you very much for your answer. And sorry, if my english is bad. Because this is the first time I write in a forum in english.

Greetings from Germany!

Helloooooo!!!! :)

Nobody any idea how to switch between the channels with a Midi-controlled Guitar-effects-processor like the Boss GT-Pro or with a Midi-Foot-Controller like the Roland FC-300 and without the Fender Footswitch?

Over 170 Hits in almost one week and no reply?

 Ooops!
There's a mistake in my first post!
The Supersonic has no TRS-Cable! It is an normal 1/4" "Mono"-Cable!
Sorry!

Anyway, how is it possible to switch the Supersonic with an Midi-Foot-Controller?

Thanks a lot for your replies! :)

I really don't see how you could use a MIDI foot control to switch the channel on the Super-sonic if there is no MIDI inputs on the back of the super-sonic, or am i missing something?

Hi TweedDogSteve!
Not only with a MIDI-foot-controller. In my first post I wrote, that I want to use a MIDI-controlled Guitar-Effects-Processor with amp-control-jacks to switch the Channels. And this is the way to switch the channels by a MIDI-foot-controller on other amps (like Marshalls). The Amp-control-jacks work like amp-footswitches. And I am searching the way to do this with my Fender Supersonic.

Look here, this is another way to switch Amps by using MIDI:

But Fender has a special way to switch the channels, so I think I can't use every MIDI-switcher.
I hope you understand my problem. Am I the only one? :?

Thanks for the clarification. The short answer is: I have no idea (let`s be honest !) For the sake of discussion, the super-sonic`s pedal switching is somewhat complex because you essentially have an on & off for the Burn channel, a two channel switcher for the vintage channel, plus on top of this, an on & off for the effect loop. I suspect that these MIDI controller should be able to handle all of the above, but it would take a lot of trial & errors before you get it right.
