Hi, i'm thinking about buying this amplifier (fender fm 212r).
But I heard bad things about it, and I really want to know if it´s a good choice or not.
I'll only use the clean channel, cause I have effects pedals.
And how about it's quality, it's good?
Can I gig with it, without problems?

With this money can I buy a better one?

I know that it isn't the best choice, but here in Brazil things are very expensive.

The FM series is assembled in Mexico, where Fender has excellent quality control, so it should hold up just fine.

That said, don't get a sold state amp until you've played tubes and decided you don't like em. And now you can't use the excuse you can't afford em what with the Super Champ XD.

Thanks for aswering.
Do you think that with the same money I can afford a better amplifier?
I played it and the clean channel it's very good and briliant.

The Frontman series are excellent solid state guitar amplifiers!

Well in that price range you should play the Super Champ XD as well, it has excellent clean, bright spank as well as great overdrive tones plus a responsive touch, harmonics and warmth that solid state amps can't match.
