You have a common affliction called Fenderphileitis, the main symptom is an overwhelming craving to fill every square inch of your home with Fender gear there is no known cure and it can only treated by giving in to the urges and buying all the Fender gear you want. Not to do this can cause major depression. Most spouses are very understanding when it's explained that is a true medical condition with no known cure but support and understanding and the gifting of Fender products to the afflicted can be quite beneficial to the overall harmony of the household.

You know, in my house if i want to buy a $500 dollar amp it usually cost me $1k. A $1k amp will cost me $2k. Why you ask? Because for every dollar I spend on me, I gotta spend one on the Misses  . So rule of thumb, if you wanna keep everyone happy you gotta scratch her back before you scratch your own  . Well at least that's how it works for me....good luck and welcome to the "support group". I feel your pain. :D

Ask how many pairs of shoes does one need? Different shoes/amps for different occasions/sounds. And, the idea of getting a really good deal may be understood by the Mrs. Of course, as mentioned above, doing something nice for her is the best idea. ;)

Make it all about her or the house. For example, I bought a Standard Strat and Blues Jr that "compliments our home decor" See signature...

Yes, it is a common affliction. I am lucky because my Awesome wife picks out gear for me so I never need to hide or try and justify a purchase..:)
