Fulltone pedals are among my favorites. In agreement with some of the other posts, check out the OCD it can go from mild blues overdrive to classic sounding distortion.

The Fulldrive 2 is also a very nice pedal. Not quite as much gain on tap as the OCD. Both are great pedals & are useful for those who appreciate Classic Rock/Blues tones...

Also, check out the Lovepedal Eternity & the Rothwell Hellbender. They are very different from one another but both are nice pedals too.

I just tried a Zendrive on my DRRI and it was great. I have had problems with almost all overdrive pedals giving an unpleasant fizzy rasp on the upper strings but the Zendrive had a nice, fat&creamy sound with a pronounced lower midrange and less top end matching the DRRI.

It does every sound from fat Jazz to full ZZ Top and I have to get one (original or clone DIY kit, probably the kit) to supplement my T-Rex Alberta and Ibanez STL Super Tube.

I have a 65 DRRI as well and run a Way Huge "Pork Loin" overdrive pedal. It's really versatile and seems to work organically with the amp. I have to say, though, that it doesn't work well at low volume. Also, the "Pork Loin" is a low gain box.

I got one of those, and I like the way you can mix clean and OD tones, but IMO it IS a little muddy sounding.

I also have a stock SD-1; analogman modded TS808; and a Keeley modded BD-2 'phat mod' Blues Driver. The Keeley BD-2 is the best stomp I've ever heard! Does not add that muddiness of most boxes. The stock SD-1 is the best value peddle, great for slightly dirty OD tones (the assymetric clipping I think!) Analog TS808 also good of Clapton stuff, but still a little muddy too.

I would go with the Fulldrive 2. You can use the clean boost feature to push the DRRI over the top, or use the pedal as a normal overdrive. Either way, it sounds great with that amp.

I really love my Vox Valve-tone V810 OD through my DRRI. Incredibly transparent, fantastic harmonics, and great controls from just a little dirt to full on dirt. They are true bypass, and can be had on Ebay for under 100 clams. Vox no longer makes them, but they have a bit of a cult following. For very good reason.
