As luck would have it my local Guitar Center just posted on line a used Vibro-King 2x12 closed back speaker cabinet for sale. I have been looking into buying one to use with my Twin Reverb, but I really did not want to spend the money on a new one. I called a sales rep at the store that I have dealt with in the past and by the time I got to the store he had a twin sitting on top of the VK cabinet hooked up in the high end room at the store for me to take a test drive on. The cabinet looked brand new and it sounded better than I thought it would. The VK now sits underneath my Twin in my music room. No doubt it's overkill for my needs but it sounds fantastic and looks great too. I just had to share my excitement with people who understand.

Got pics?

I usually stack my TR on a Dual Showman cab when playing out, especially if the gig is an outdoor venue. The bass-reflex enclosure really adds some punch to the bottom end and keeps the audio focused to the front. You'll get similar results with your TR/VK combination.

Rock on.

Man Arjay! what type of music are you playing with that rig and are ya staying clean or pushing the tubes with a pedal......or is it balls-to-the-wall sonic mayhem. :D

You too KennyV,what do you plan on playing through that impressive "stack"?
