My roc-pro 1000 stopped working. You turn it on and all lights come on but no sound. You can still switch channels but still nothing, no buzz,no hum, nothing! Yes its pluged in and I'm pluged into the amp. All the wires are in the right place and the pre-amp tube is new. The speaker does'nt look bad. Can anyone help?

hi i own a fender performer 1000 i bought it new back like 13-14 yrs ago ,, they are great amps,,, anyway this amp always always always worked,, then i day at band practice it cut out,, try tapping the knobs on the amp in my case it was the trble knob i tapped it and it crackeled a bit and then worked mine still does this right now then and again apparently so i have been told these amps heat up considerably and the soddering inside either melts or makes like a not soo good connection,, try the tapping thing ,, i am gonna bring mine in to have it gone over just for this problem but other than that i have 0 other complaints-- i paid 879 dollars for mine ,, when they first came out hope it helps Rock on Dave
