I've got a 59' RI Bassman LTD about 2 years old. I played a show the other night with no problems, loaded it in the car and it was dead when I took it inside the next day. The pilot light is not lit, but the Rectifier tube is lit. None of the other tubes are lit (power and pre-amp). Fuses are OK. No nuts or bolts or furry animals inside. No scorch marks either (it seemed to have happened while being transported.)
Any ideas on where to start?

Usually the rectifier is a solidstate but I'm not shure for the reissue, using GZ34 it is self-heated by a small part of the supply transformer.
As other filaments are independants, the fuse XF6 is probably fused or you have bad solder joints in the valve heating circuit where T47 (jewel) is connected.

I agree, good place to start. It seems that the schematic shows that the fuse F6 is only used on the "export" amps. :? If the fuse is blown, it might mean a bad preamp tube also. If the fuse is blown, after checking solder joints, with the amp off, you can remove all of the preamp tubes, and replace them one at a time turning the power back on after each one, to see if one is causing the fuse to blow. Of course, you might want to mark the tubes location first, and have a couple of spare fuses.
