Just curious. Which speaker did you put in it, and how did it change the sound (for better or worse)?

Just in case you missed it.

What would be the Pick of them all be for a BD.... The gold or The Tubby?..... I've read all the threads search finds and i'm coming to the conclusion Tone Tubby or Celestion Gold or Canibis REX...... Any opinions??

The sounds i'm getting out of my BD can be gold with drive and clean when played gently but when i'm hacking at it some too bright screechy noises are coming out of it, The Jensen i had in my Hot Rod was a smoother speaker, This is a better AMP just needs a better quality speaker....

I went with the Cannabis Rex for my Blues Deluxe ReIssue. I like the tone a lot and it did not break the bank. I also hook it up to a 2 x 12 ext. cab with two 16 ohm Texas Heats and with the three speakers it puts out the tone I like when I crank it up a little..

For bang for the buck I think the C-Rex's are a good choice for blues and classic rock. I put one in a Blues Jr. I sold and the guy using it now raves about the tone he gets out of that setup. If I had the budget I would probably go for an Alinco Gold. I have a 1 x12 ext cab and I have been thinking of putting one in it. I would rather have a spendy speaker in an ext. cab, then I can use more than one amp with it easily.

What I hear in samples the TT sounds like my playing but the Gold sounds so so smooth....... I'm torn, the Rex sounds a bit raspy in comparison to these two I'm thinking huh....
