Hello all,

So has anyone dropped the chasis and looked inside a Super-Sonic yet? Is there a bias test point like on the Hot-rod series amps? Does anyone know the plate voltage so I can calc the 70% max current for biasing.

Thanks for the help,
Butch

I did - the SS does have an internal bias pot - it is near the power tube area, but it does not however have a nice test point like the Hot Rod series. I simply bought a matched pair of power tubes, and put them in...bias is only required for unmatched pair of tubes....

I did adjust the bias pot slighty to remove a bit of hiss, but that was about it.
