Try

1) a different guitar cable

2) a different guitar

3) a diiferent poweroutlet -pref in a diiferent part of the house

4) make sure that you are not near powered-up PC, Tv, Stereo etc.

5) try diiferent tubes in amp.

Need more info. Does it hum when nothing is plugged into it? If NO, then your amp is fine and look elsewhere for the problem. If YES, does the volume of hum increase as you turn up the volume or does the hum level remain constant? Could be a bad tube, power tubes need to be biased, faulty filter capacitor, who knows. Hopefully it can be narrowed down.

Do you have other tube amps yo ucan compare it to? Is th hum so ould you can hear it over your playing, or do you have to put your ear right up to the speaker to hear it? Tube amps are generally a little noisier than solid state amps.

edit: Here is your original post. http://www.fender.com/community/forums/ ... ht=#535081 You could have just bumped it to the top instead of making a new thread. You already answered some of my questions in the original post. You bought the amp in March so it is still covered by warranty. Have a pro check it out.

It just sits there and hums. I tried different cables, different guitars, it hums reguardless if there is a guitar plugged in or not. The volume pots have no effect on the hum. I tried different outlets in 2 different houses. NOTE: when the guitar is plugged in, You hear nothing but that dang ol' hum. No signal is being pushed through the speaker. And when I turn off the amp, It makes a loud pop, as if you were to just yank out your guitar cable with the amp on.
