Can anyone tell me if there's a big difference between the loudness of a pro junior and a g-dec? (my guess would be that the pro junior's louder but i need to know)
I started living on my own back in march and my parents house was very sound proof. but now I live in a smaller house and my Super-Sonic is just too loud. Off course i will never sell the super-sonic because i don't plan on living here all my life. I'm bringing the supersonic back to my parents so i can plug in to that once in a while.
Any advice?

Joss.

Hi Jossett,

There are a few different G DEC models. Generally speaking, watt for watt, a tube amp will always be much louder than a solid state amp. The PJr, 15 watt 10 inch speaker, will be the closest to the G DEC 30, 30 watt 10 inch speaker, for volume level. But, I'd be willing to bet that the PJr will still be louder than the G DEC 30. You should really try them side by side to be sure though.

I have a G-DEC 30 and 2 Pro Jrs. - - Both of the PJs are much louder than the G-DEC 30.

My 6 watt 74 SF Champ is louder than my GDec 30. It's tube watts vs. SS watts. Current devices vs. Voltage device.
