Egnater Rebel 20 or 30. They run 6V6 AND EL84 power tubes and can be blended to ant degree as well as a watts control that helps tweak the headroom.

That helps. Still don't know if you're playing at home or onstage. You might get by with a Blues Junior or SuperChamp XD if you don't need gobs of volume.

Scratch a used Deluxe Reverb reissue off your list if don't want to use an overdrive or distortion pedal since that's the only way it's really going to do Angus.

You might benefit from an amp with an overdrive channel to switch between clean and dirty. There are dozens out there at your pricepoint, especially used. Go out to a guitar shop if you can and play every amp you see within your budget. Let your ears decide.

Pedals are not required with the Egnater Rebel. It blows away any of the HRD and VM series amps with no mods what so ever. Nothing wrong with a DRRI and pedals.

It doesn't get much respect but I love the Blues Deluxe Reissue.

It depends on the sound you want.
