Got the amp back from tech last night. He said he found a loose solder joint on "the back of the board, on a resistor that works in the channel switching circuit." Or something to that extent. He also said that it's fairly common. He also said he wrapped the connections with a little wire prior to beefing up the solder joint.

Band practice Friday night, so we'll see how she does.

Did you happen to mention the filter caps to your tech? At fifteen years old it might be time to examine that issue.

So the amp works great!! There's a little crackling when turning the reverb pot, but other than that my BD is back in action.
