I have this solid state from way back 1988,
I had stopped using it because the volume would cut in half from time to time. then suddenly go loud again. Is there anything simple that would cure this?

is it worth fixing, It has pretty good tone, and looks nice like modern twin.

thanks

Hi mca,

It could be as simple as a dirty/bad volume pot, or bad solder joints. Try some electrical spray cleaner for the pot (inside). Check the solder joints at the pot also, actually check all solder joints, and touch up any that may be cracked or dull. If that doesn't work, replace the vol pot. It won't cost much to try these things.

Por favor, disculpe mi español, no se llega a la práctica con mucha frecuencia.
