I got a chance to preview a Mustang II this afternoon. Pretty awesome! Wrote a post earlier:

Fender is shipping them out as I write this. According to the sales rep that I spoke with, Fender pushed up the release date on account of all the demand for the new Mustang series. Along with the new Hot Rod III amps, the Mustangs are expected to be a big seller this holiday season.

I picked up the Mustang II yesterday.

I was in the market for a home practice/jam amp and I was very impressed by the tones and the capability with the Fuse software.

There's a few negatives that prevent this from being the perfect small gig/worship service amp. First, the one button foot pedal only allows you to switch between 2 presets. Not a deal breaker but to have more control over effects from a footswitch would have been nice. The other is there is no line out to connect straight to the PA like you can with a SCXD.

I guess you can't have it all for $200. Overall, I am very happy with the amp and the realistic sounding models.
